As a matter of fact, such a mindset has brought us huge amount of unnecessary waste. Indeed, intelligent people in large numbers have realized the significance of thrift for our social development: without thrift, it would be impossible for human beings to utilize limited natural resources like water, food and energy. On the other hand, as a college student, I am convinced that it is of great necessity for students to nurture such a value in consumption and life. The virtue of thrift, without a doubt, can help us form the habit of saving, bring us more opportunities for any future plans in life. Only in this way, can the young gain life-long benefits from a healthy lifestyle.

In conclusion, the virtue of thrift is like a stepping stone which ensures more fruitful results in our personal and social advancement. An enlightening saying shall be kept in mind, “Put your hand no further than your sleeve will reach.”(224詞)
